The Mavericks' four-game road trip concludes with their last game against an Eastern Conference team Friday at Orlando. Dallas has won five of the last six in the series, but has dropped six of the last seven in Orlando. The Magic are surging and despite already clinching a losing record, remain mathematically alive for a playoff spot. Jameer Nelson is the kind of quick guard that's given the Mavs fits since Devin Harris went down.

This time it was Jason Richardson's turn to hit a buzzer-beater to help Golden State shock Dallas. Richardson scored 40 points, including a 3-pointer with less than a second remaining to send the Warriors past the Mavericks 122-121 on Thursday night. The Warriors surprised the Mavericks on their previous visit to Dallas on Dec.

Jason Terry and Dirk Nowitzki scored 25 points apiece, and the Dallas Mavericks pulled away in the second half for a 104-94 victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday night. Jerry Stackhouse, booed every time he touched the ball by Wizards fans disenchanted with his two seasons in Washington, added 17 points off the bench for the Mavericks, who won their third straight and sixth in seven games.
Nets 100, Mavericks 89 (AP)
Richard Jefferson never had a victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Jason Kidd hardly could remember even being competitive against them since coming to New Jersey. But, with one dominant quarter, the Nets ended six years of frustration. Jefferson scored 28 points and New Jersey snapped an 11-game losing streak against Dallas with a 100-89 victory Sunday.
Mavericks 88, Rockets 72 (AP)
About the only thing the Houston Rockets have had going for them lately was the strong play of Yao Ming. So the main thing the Dallas Mavericks focused on Tuesday night was making him work for everything he got. Yao wound up being pestered into his worst game in a month, scoring only four points by halftime then taking only one shot in the third quarter of an 88-72 victory by the Mavericks.

Pistons 97, Mavericks 90 (AP)
The Detroit Pistons enjoyed beating Dallas so much that they want a chance to do it again. "I told Avery (Johnson) after the game that I'd like to see him seven more times, starting in about three months," Pistons coach Flip Saunders said. If the Pistons (56-14) and Mavericks (54-17) do meet in June's NBA Finals, Detroit's 97-90 victory Tuesday might play a crucial role in determining who gets the...
Mavericks 98, Hawks 83 (AP)
The Dallas Mavericks made it look easy against the Atlanta Hawks. Jason Terry, however, knows it will only get tougher the rest of the way as they seek to win the NBA's Western Conference and gain the home court advantage during the playoffs. Dirk Nowitzki scored 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help the Dallas Mavericks to a 98-83 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night.
Cavaliers 107, Mavericks 94 (AP)
LeBron James was in seventh grade the last time the Cleveland Cavaliers played in the postseason. And he wasn't even a Cavaliers fan. "I was a Bulls fan -- all Michael Jordan back then. I'm all Cavs now," James said. James helped end the NBA's third-longest playoff drought by scoring 46 points in a 107-94 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night, clinching Cleveland's first postseason...
LeBron has playoff plans, Nets have momentum (AP)
LeBron James and the Cavaliers finally have postseason plans. The New Jersey Nets will have their ticket soon. And both teams look as though they might have something to say about that presumed Detroit-Miami conference final. James helped end the NBA's third-longest playoff drought by scoring 46 points in a 107-94 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.
